The Ranger 305 G is a highly capable professional welder/generator that offers a variety of welding processes including stick, MIG, TIG, and pipe welding. Designed for versatility, it serves as a portable welding station, making it perfect for all seasons. With its Touch Start™ TIG, MIG, and flux-cored wire capabilities, as well as its general stick and downhill pipe welding capabilities, this welder caters to a wide range of welding needs.
Powered by a 9,500 watt continuous single-phase AC generator, the Ranger 305 G is capable of providing extended range and process capability. It can power motors starting, tools, and inverter welders, ensuring a reliable and efficient operation. Additionally, the digital weld meters allow for easy monitoring of welding output, while the 12-gallon fuel capacity allows for extended operation.
Equipped with a Kohler® Gasoline Engine, this welder boasts a 23 HP carburetor engine and an electric fuel pump to avoid vapor lock during high-altitude operations. Its multi-process welding capability ensures excellent DC welding for general purpose stick, downhill pipe, TIG, cored-wire, and MIG welding. It is the only compact gasoline welder in North America that is rated at 29V for 300 amps of stick or CV welding, and it can perform CV wire welding with up to 5/64 in. (2.0 mm) diameter electrodes.
The Ranger 305 G features digital weld meters for amps and volts, allowing for precise pre-setting of procedures and easy monitoring of actual welding output. Thanks to Lincoln Electric Chopper Technology®, this welder delivers superior arc performance, with easy starts, a smooth arc, low spatter, and optimal bead appearance.
With its peak single-phase AC generator power of 10,500 watts and continuous power of 9,500 watts, the Ranger 305 G offers high capacity for various needs such as being used as a backup generator, powering Lincoln Electric Invertec® inverter welders, lights, grinders, and other power tools. The AC generator voltage remains constant at 120V or 240V at any weld dial setting. The skewed rotor design ensures AC power suitable for operating Lincoln Electric inverter power sources, making it a reliable and versatile choice.
Built to last, the welding and AC generator outputs of the Ranger 305 G are rated at 104ºF (40ºC), ensuring rugged reliability even in challenging environments.
