Liquid nitrogen is a colorless, odorless, and non-flammable gas that is stored and transported in its liquid form at extremely low temperatures of -196°C (-320.44°F). It has a wide range of industrial and scientific uses, including:

1. Cryopreservation of biological materials: Liquid nitrogen is commonly used in the preservation of biological samples, such as sperm, eggs, and embryos, as well as in the storage of stem cells and other tissues.
2. Food freezing and preservation: Liquid nitrogen is used in the food industry for freezing and preserving food products, such as ice cream and frozen meats, due to its extremely low temperature.
3. Medical applications: Liquid nitrogen is used in dermatology for the treatment of skin lesions, such as warts, and in ophthalmology for the removal of certain types of tumors.
