SDX EM14K is a copper-coated carbon-steel solid wire for submerged arc welding. Moderate manganese, silicon, and titanium contents allows for good low temperature impact toughness, and improved CVN toughness during high heat input welding. Single and multiple-pass welding using recommended fluxes, structural and bridge fabrication, heavy equipment, storage vessels, and pressure vessels.
