OK Tigrod 308L offers excellent resistance against general corrosion. With its low carbon content, this alloy is highly recommended in situations where intergranular corrosion could be a concern. Widely utilized in the chemical and food processing sectors, as well as for pipes, tubes, and boilers, it is particularly suitable for joining stainless steels with 18% chromium and 8% nickel, which possess low carbon content, along with niobium-stabilized steels of the same kind, provided the temperature stays below 350°C. Additionally, it can be employed for welding chromium steels, except in environments rich in sulfur.
