With a 9,500 watt continuous single-phase AC generator, this portable welding station powers motors, tools, and inverter welders, providing extended range and process capability. The digital weld meters allow for precise monitoring of welding output, while the 12-gallon fuel capacity ensures extended operation. Equipped with a Kohler® gasoline engine, the Ranger 305 G EFI offers easier starts in cold weather and an electric fuel pump to prevent vapor lock during high-altitude operation. Its multi-process welding capabilities make it suitable for various tasks including general stick, downhill pipe, TIG, cored-wire, and MIG welding. The compact design, unique to North America, allows for stick or CV welding of up to 300 amps at 29V, and CV wire welding with electrodes up to 5/64 in. (2.0 mm) in diameter. The digital weld meters make it easy to pre-set procedures and monitor welding output. With Lincoln Electric Chopper Technology®, the Ranger 305 G EFI provides easy starts, a smooth arc, low spatter, and optimal bead appearance. Additionally, it offers peak single-phase AC generator power of 12,000 watts to meet high capacity needs as a back-up generator or for powering other tools. The AC generator voltage remains constant at 120V or 240V regardless of the weld dial setting. Built with rugged reliability in mind, both the welding and AC generator outputs of the Ranger 305 G EFI are rated at 104ºF (40ºC).

I came in for a simple argon bottle swap—not a lesson in surprise fees. If you intend to charge an “environmental fee,” disclose it upfront in your quote. Adding it at checkout is unacceptable. Be transparent or adjust your pricing—don’t hide it.
