CrossLinc® Technology: Safety and Efficiency

The defining feature of the LN-25X is CrossLinc® Technology. In traditional field welding, operators often face a choice between using a simple "across-the-arc" feeder with no remote control or dealing with the clutter and fragility of an additional control cable. CrossLinc solves this by transmitting voltage control signals directly over the standard welding power cable. This allows the welder to adjust voltage settings at the feeder—hundreds of feet away from the power source—without the trip hazard or maintenance liability of a control cord. True Voltage Technology™ (TVT)

Long cable runs in field applications inevitably lead to voltage drop, where the voltage at the arc is lower than what is set at the machine. This can result in cold welds and lack of fusion. The LN-25X is equipped with True Voltage Technology™ (TVT), which actively monitors the voltage at the feeder. It automatically signals the power source to adjust its output, compensating for the drop and ensuring that the voltage you set is exactly the voltage delivered to the weld.
