The Precision TIG 225 welder is perfect for automotive and motorsports TIG welding, offering the widest operating range in its class (5 to 230 amps). Our durable welder ensures enhanced starting and optimal arc stability, allowing for more precise welds and crater fills thanks to our patented Micro-Start™ II technology. With 115V receptacles, you can power a water cooler or other power tools conveniently. This welder is ideal for small auto and fabrication shops as well as vocational training schools.

Our welder is designed to be simple to use and easy to customize. Its operator interface allows you to select the mode and polarity effortlessly, enabling you to begin welding quickly. When working with aluminum, the AC Auto Balance® automatically adjusts to provide the optimal mix of cleaning and penetration.

This welder adapts to any situation with its adjustable settings for cleaning, penetration, and pulse. When welding thicker materials that require increased penetration or breaking through heavy oxide layers, you have the option to bypass the AC Auto Balance and manually adjust for full control. Additionally, you can enable the TIG pulser feature to minimize material distortion caused by excessive heat input and ensure consistent bead appearance by moderating filler metal deposition.

Not only does the Precision TIG 225 welder excel in TIG welding, but it also offers exceptional stick welding capabilities. It can handle up to 5/32 in. (4.0 mm) electrodes, including Fleetweld® 5P+ (E6010).
