Voltage Reduction Device (VRD™)

Safety is paramount in industrial settings, particularly in environments with increased risk of electrical shock such as damp, hot, or humid conditions. The K1288-28 model comes standard with Lincoln's VRD™ (Voltage Reduction Device). This system reduces the Open Circuit Voltage (OCV) to less than 2 volts when the machine is not welding. This feature provides an additional layer of protection for the operator without compromising the machine's ability to start the arc or drive current through long cables (up to 200 ft).

Specific Input Voltage Configuration

This specific SKU is engineered for facilities utilizing 380-415V 3-Phase input power (50/60Hz). The machine features a full-range output voltage control for precise dialing of arc characteristics and includes a mode switch to easily toggle between CV (Constant Voltage) and CC (Constant Current) output characteristics.
