The user weld schedule memory storage feature enables easy recall of critical or frequently repeated weld procedures, specifically with Power Feed® and Flex Feed® 84 wire feeders. Additionally, the welder offers synergic control over wire feed speed and voltage, which is available only when used with Power Feed wire feeders.
Reliability is a key feature of the Flextec 650X. Its components are designed to run cool, ensuring a long lifespan even in high-temperature environments. The welder is engineered for outdoor use and harsh conditions, boasting an IP23 rating. It is also Desert Duty® Rated, capable of withstanding extreme temperatures of up to 55°C.
The Flextec 650X is highly flexible and suitable for large diameter wire or stick welding on thick materials. It is compatible with a wide range of Lincoln Electric® feeders, including bench and boom models, portable across-the-arc models, and those equipped with CrossLinc™ or ArcLink® technology. The welder delivers premium multi-process arc characteristics on all DC wire, stick, and TIG processes.
With CrossLinc™ technology compatibility, the Flextec 650X offers full functionality without control cables. This feature allows for remote procedure setting at the feeder, improving weld quality and increasing arc time by reducing trips to the power source for adjustments. Great supplier! I've switched both the last factory and this new one over and have saved a lot of money on gas, but most importantly, the customer service is excellent. I came in for a simple argon bottle swap—not a lesson in surprise fees. If you intend to charge an “environmental fee,” disclose it upfront in your quote. Adding it at checkout is unacceptable. Be transparent or adjust your pricing—don’t hide it.
