Technically, the Dynasty 400 offers an unprecedented level of arc control. Operators can utilize independent amplitude/amperage control to set Electrode Positive (EP) and Electrode Negative (EN) amperages separately. This capability allows for precise management of heat input to the workpiece and the electrode, optimizing bead profile and penetration. The machine also features extended AC balance controls (30–99%), which regulate the oxide cleaning action essential for high-quality aluminum welds, and an adjustable AC frequency (20–400 Hz) to tailor the width and force of the arc cone.
