The Thermal Dynamics ® Cutmaster® 82 with SL60® 75 Degree hand torch Plasma Cutter is a powerful tool for heavy fabrication, manufacturing, and contractors. Designed for durability and easy transportation, this cutter has a recommended cutting capacity of 3/4" and a maximum cutting thickness of 1 1/2".
With an input of 460 V, three phase, 50/60 Hz and an output of 20 - 80 A, this cutter is versatile and efficient. It features a pierce rating of 5/8" and an amperage draw of 21 A at 460 V. The package includes a power supply, 20' lead, SL60 torch with a 75 deg head, 10' input power cable without plug, work cable and clamp, spare parts kit, and an operating manual.
Measuring 15" X 12" X 24", this lightweight cutter is easy to handle. It operates with an air pressure of 70 psi and a 6.7 cfm flow. The duty cycle is 40% at 80 A, 60% at 65 A, and 100% at 55A, ensuring consistent performance. The Yes guard bar secures the power supply, while the front panel features all the controls. Color coded LEDs denote pressure status and setup errors, making operation straightforward.
The cutter offers a multiple voltage design, allowing operation from 208 - 480 V. The storage compartment provides convenient storage for spare parts and consumables. The 1 Torch with ATC disconnect allows for lead extensions or can be converted into a machine torch. The autopilot restart feature quickly initiates the pilot arc for cutting expanded metals. The cutter can be controlled via the hand torch switch or hand pendant control, offering flexibility and convenience.

I came in for a simple argon bottle swap—not a lesson in surprise fees. If you intend to charge an “environmental fee,” disclose it upfront in your quote. Adding it at checkout is unacceptable. Be transparent or adjust your pricing—don’t hide it.
