The Thermal Dynamics® Cutmaster® 82 is a powerful plasma cutter designed for heavy fabrication, manufacturing, and contractors. With a maximum cutting thickness of 1 1/2", this cutter is equipped with an input of 208 - 230 V, single phase, 50/60 Hz and an output of 20 - 80 A. It comes with a recommended cutting capacity of 3/4" and a pierce rating of 5/8".
This plasma cutter includes a power supply, 20' lead, SL60 torch with a 75-degree head, 10' input power cable, work cable and clamp, spare parts kit, and an operating manual. Its compact dimensions of 15" X 12" X 24" make it easy to transport, and the Yes guard bar ensures durability during transportation.
The front panel of the cutter features all the necessary controls, and the color-coded LEDs indicate pressure status and setup errors. The lightweight design includes a 60 A drag tip and a trigger latch to minimize hand fatigue during long cuts.
The Cutter offers a duty cycle of 40% at 80 A, 60% at 65 A, and 100% at 55A, providing reliable performance. It operates at an air pressure of 70 psi with a 6.7 cfm flow. Additionally, the Cutter offers a multiple voltage design, allowing operation from 208 - 480 V.
Conveniently, this Cutter has a storage compartment to keep spare parts and consumables organized. The 1 Torch, featuring an ATC disconnect, enables the addition of lead extensions or conversion into a machine torch. The autopilot restart quickly initiates the pilot arc and cuts expanded metals. The Cutter also offers a hand torch switch or hand pendant control for user-friendly operation.

I came in for a simple argon bottle swap—not a lesson in surprise fees. If you intend to charge an “environmental fee,” disclose it upfront in your quote. Adding it at checkout is unacceptable. Be transparent or adjust your pricing—don’t hide it.
