OVERVIEW

The ET 186i AC/DC welding system is a compact and versatile solution for TIG and Stick welding. Designed with professionals in mind, this system offers a complete range of features and controls to enhance your welding experience. With its lightweight construction, it can be easily transported for use in a variety of applications.

One of the standout features of this system is the HF Arc Start, which allows for non-contact arc starting, eliminating the risk of tungsten or material contamination. The AC and DC output options make it suitable for welding various materials, including aluminum, non-ferrous alloys, stainless steel, mild steel, and chrome molys.

To further optimize your welding setup, this system offers adjustable AC frequency for welding on aluminum, ranging from 15 Hz to 150 Hz. Additionally, the wave balance is adjustable, allowing for optimized penetration or cleaning action when working with aluminum.

For more precise control, the pulse function enables you to change the weld current from high to low at a specified frequency. This feature is particularly useful when working with thin materials, as it reduces heat input.

Overall, the ET 186i AC/DC welding system combines portability, versatility, and professional-grade performance to meet your TIG and Stick welding needs.
