It is specifically configured as a "No U/I" (No User Interface) model, meaning it is intended to be paired with a separate Flex Feed 84 control box, allowing for a modular installation where the controls can be positioned for operator convenience while the drive mechanism remains on the boom.

At the heart of this feeder is Lincoln's advanced MaxTrac® wire drive system. This heavy-duty, cast aluminum feed plate features a four-roll driven design that ensures positive traction on the welding wire without deforming it. This is particularly critical when working with softer wires or when feeding through long conduits typical in boom applications.
