The Prism Mobile product family offers efficient welding fume extraction and filtration. Designed for smaller manufacturing facilities, these low vacuum systems are perfect for light to medium duty operations in various locations. Please note that they are not suitable for cutting or arc gouging.
Featuring a generous airflow of 735 CFM, these systems come with flexible extraction arms measuring 10 or 13 ft. The CFM level is dependent on the arm length, fan type, and system maintenance. Additionally, an internal spark arrestor acts as a pre-filter, preventing sparks from reaching the main filter.
To ensure optimal motion and reach, you can choose from a variety of extraction arm models or opt for a hose/hood set. The system also includes a filter status indicator, allowing you to easily monitor the remaining filter life.
Using the Prism Mobile system has several benefits. It creates a cleaner work environment by reducing dust and dirt in the operator's area. Thanks to its larger surface area, the filter requires fewer changes, ultimately lowering operational costs. I came in for a simple argon bottle swap—not a lesson in surprise fees. If you intend to charge an “environmental fee,” disclose it upfront in your quote. Adding it at checkout is unacceptable. Be transparent or adjust your pricing—don’t hide it.
