The Prism DownDraft Table version, available in either 230 or 460, is a compact and versatile table designed for welding shops. It serves as a workbench and extraction unit specifically created to eliminate welding fumes. The DownFlex table has the ability to remove dust and particles from metal grinding and light duty plasma arc cutting applications, providing a safe and efficient workspace.
Featuring a Three Stage Spark Arrestor System, this table effectively captures hot particulate before it reaches the filter chamber. With a strong backdraft extraction capacity of 80% and downdraft extraction capacity of 20%, it is an ideal choice for welding, grinding, and light duty plasma cutting applications (up to 50 amps).
Maintenance of the DownFlex table is made easy with all controls and doors conveniently located on the front, providing complete access to filters and collection drawers. The 400-MS/A model is equipped with an automatic filter cleaning mechanism, using blasts of compressed air to remove particulate from the filter surfaces. This extends the time interval between filter replacements and reduces maintenance requirements.

I came in for a simple argon bottle swap—not a lesson in surprise fees. If you intend to charge an “environmental fee,” disclose it upfront in your quote. Adding it at checkout is unacceptable. Be transparent or adjust your pricing—don’t hide it.
