High-Performance Respiratory Protection

The WC-XR940A is a complete Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) system designed to provide welders with the highest level of respiratory protection against hazardous fumes and particulates. At the core of the system is the XR940A blower unit, which features an advanced electronic control system. This system continuously monitors airflow and automatically compensates for filter clogging or battery discharge, ensuring a constant, calibrated flow of clean air to the operator. The unit is powered by a lightweight lithium-ion battery, offering extended run times suitable for full-shift operations.

Advanced Filtration and Safety Logic

Filtration is handled by a multi-stage assembly comprising a P3 Particulate main filter, a carbon odor pre-filter, and a stainless steel spark trap. This combination effectively removes 99.8% of airborne particles while protecting the filter media from hot sparks and spatter. The unit is engineered with a triple alarm system—audible, LED, and vibration—to alert the user immediately to low battery status, reduced airflow, or a blocked filter. This redundancy ensures that the operator is always aware of the system's operational status, even in noisy industrial environments.

Ergonomics and Maintenance
