Certain PAPR stems provide a higher level of respiratory protection than non-powered air filtering respirators. It attaches to the opening of the headgear to help provide respiratory protection. The lower end of the breathing tube is attached to the air control device. Constant flow of air can provide cooling for the worker, resulting in greater comfort for the wearer.
