The Tweco Roto-Work Ground Clamps are specially designed to be used in conjunction with the Tweco Roto-Ground Device. However, they can also be utilized for other grounding applications that require high amperage. The Roto-Ground shaft easily screws into the tapped back of the Roto-Work Clamp, enabling swift attachment or movement between rotating weldments or fixtures without the need to detach the Roto-Ground. This saves valuable time during welding operations.
Crafted from a durable copper alloy, the Roto-Work Clamps are available in three different amperage capacities: 600, 1200, and 2000 amperes. The WCRG-2000 model is equipped with two tightening screws, while the WCRG-600 model is compatible exclusively with the No. RG-230 due to its smaller shaft size. These clamps feature large tightening screws and a generous contact surface area, ensuring efficient and cool operation. With their robust and reliable design, they incorporate a ball-point screw to securely connect the welding cable to the ground clamp, as well as copper cast upper and lower jaws. A heavy-duty spring supplies the required clamping force to the work surface, and an insulated spring contributes to its overall functionality.
