This exothermic cutting pack is designed to cut through a variety of materials, including metallic, non-metallic, and composite. It includes all the necessary equipment and cutting rods, which, when combined with standard industrial grade oxygen, supports the exothermic reaction and removes molten metal. Perfect for maintenance and repair within manufacturing facilities, this self-contained cutting system features an improved torch handle for a better grip and a rubber shield to protect against molten spray during piercing. The striker assembly has also been enhanced with a slide mechanism that exposes only a small portion of the ignition bar, increasing its lifespan. The battery box has been upgraded for faster recharging and features a visual "gas gauge" to indicate battery condition, along with an over-charging safeguard. For convenience, the cart includes a storage shelf for a 12-volt battery, which is required to ignite the SLICE rod and initiate the exothermic cutting action. Please note that the 12-volt battery is not included with the system. Additionally, the cart features a battery charger for easy recharging as needed.
