Our tactile seam tracking systems provide precise automated seam tracking for a variety of welding processes, including submerged arc, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW. These systems are highly recommended for repetitive welding applications as they enhance quality and consistency while reducing operational costs. We offer a range of standard systems and customizable solutions to meet the demands of tough production environments.
Setting up our systems is easy and operators can quickly learn to program and operate them. We offer pre-configured systems for simple system selection. Choose from two controllers and matching pendants, select a cross slide assembly based on load capacity, determine the necessary travel stroke length for each axis, and select an application-specific seam sensor tip.
For advanced controls, our Advanced Programming Control (APC) offers additional capabilities such as programming the entire weld cycle as a position-based or time-based configuration and storing up to 19 weld sequence programs.
Our systems have widespread integration capability and can be built around almost any welding power source, feeder, and controlled group.
