The LT-7 Tractor (Track Model) Submerged Arc DC Wire Feeder is a highly efficient and user-friendly self-propelled mechanized wire feeder designed for the submerged arc process. It comes with track system capabilities, making it incredibly versatile. With its self-guiding feature and easy operation, only one operator is typically required to operate this machine.

The LT-7 Tractor is compatible with various Lincoln DC constant voltage and constant current power sources, allowing for seamless integration into different setups. Despite its rugged and lightweight construction, it offers quick movement to the next joint and can easily navigate through small openings and confined spaces. It can perform butt and fillet welds on a wide range of materials, from heavy plate to light steel as thin as 12 gauge (2.5mm).

This tractor is perfect for numerous applications in industries such as ship and barge building, storage tank erection, bridge deck installation, beam, girder, or column fabrication, as well as long seams on heavy weldments.

The LT-7 Tractor boasts an impressive wire feed range of 3/32 to 3/16"" (2.4 to 4.8 mm) and a wire feed speed of 100 - 400 inches per minute (2.5 - 10.2 m/min). Its calibrated tractor drive allows for precise travel speeds ranging from 6 to 70 inches per minute (0.12 to 1.8 m/min). Additionally, the vertical head lift adjuster enables the adjustment of electrical Stick-out from 1/2 in. to 5 in. (12.7 to 127.0 mm).

This machine offers exceptional welding capabilities with up to a 50° weld angle from vertical on either side and up to a 30° drag angle from vertical. The control box, conveniently located on the tractor, eliminates the need for repetitive visits to the power source to make procedure changes.

With exceptional tracking control and self-steering in most applications, operators have the freedom to focus on quality control, joint cleaning, and flux handling. The LT-7 Tractor is designed to weld butts, horizontal fillet, and lap joints to both the left and right sides of the tractor frame for added convenience.

Thanks to its close mechanical alignment between the wire and joint, the weld quality is maximized without the need for additional fixturing costs. Additionally, this product comes with a three-year warranty on both parts and labor, providing peace of mind to the user.
