FlexFeed 84 wire drive is designed to be used with the Flex Feed 84 control box in boom mounted configurations. With rugged and reliable engineering, this wire drive offers consistent feeding over long conduit runs. It has the capability to handle large-diameter wires, surpassing the competition's capacity.
The wire drive circuit board is encapsulated for maximum protection against the elements.
Featuring superior process control, the FlexFeed 84 offers digital presets for voltage and wire feed speed. It allows users to save repeated procedures in up to four user memories. Process limits can be set and secured with a passcode. Additionally, the display provides real-time monitoring of voltage and current during welding.
Safety is a top priority with the FlexFeed 84. Single wire drive model feeders can be customized with an electrically isolated stud for arc gouging operations. For dual wire drive models, a Power Path™ contactor isolates the non-active wire drive and gun. The wire retract function can be selected to ensure operator safety by retracting the wire back into the nozzle.
The advanced MaxTrac® wire drive design of the FlexFeed 84 includes a rugged cast aluminum feed plate for protection and consistent wire feeding. The tool-less drive rolls and split wire guides make adjustments and maintenance quick and easy. Birdnesting is prevented, ensuring uninterrupted feed.
The modular design of the FlexFeed 84 provides flexibility in configurations. It can be easily configured for single, dual, bench, or boom setups, allowing for adaptability as workspace needs change. There are two options for wire reel stands: standard for up to 44-lb. spools, or heavy duty for up to 60-lb. coils or spools. Furthermore, the FlexFeed 84 has a built-in interface for hard automation.
