Introducing the Power Feed 84 controller, specifically designed for boom mount applications. This controller is engineered to be rugged and reliable, ensuring consistent wire feeding over long conduit runs. It has the capability to handle large-diameter wires, going well beyond the competition's capacity.
Enhanced electrical connections are provided by gun adapters, reducing voltage drops and simplifying connections. The wire drive circuit board is encapsulated for maximum protection from the elements.
With superior process control, this controller offers digital presets for voltage and wire feed speed. It also allows users to save repeated procedures in up to four user memories. Process limits can be set and secured with a passcode, and it displays actual voltage and current while welding.
Safety is prioritized with every process. Single wire drive model feeders can be ordered with an electrically isolated stud for arc gouging operations. The dual wire drive model offers a Power Path™ contactor that electrically isolates the non-active wire drive and gun. Additionally, users have the option to select a wire retract function that physically retracts the wire back into the nozzle to prevent operator injury.
The advanced MaxTrac® wire drive design ensures consistent wire feeding. The rugged cast aluminum feed plate protects the wire and allows for uninterrupted feed with the patented tool-less split wire guides. Adjustments and maintenance are made quick and easy with the patented tool-less drive rolls. The modular design provides flexibility in configurations, allowing it to be easily converted for single, dual, bench, or boom setups as workspace needs change.
You can choose from two available wire reel stands: standard, suitable for up to 44-lb. spools, or heavy duty, capable of holding up to 60-lb. coils or spools. The Power Feed 84 controller also features a built-in interface for hard automation.
