The FlexFeed 84 Dual Bench Model is a feeder that combines two wire drives into one convenient bench model. With the included contactor, only one wire is electrically hot at a time, ensuring safety and efficient operation. Its rugged and reliable engineering allows for consistent feeding over long conduit runs.
This model is capable of handling large-diameter wires, surpassing the competition's capacity. Gun adapters are included, which provide superior electrical connections, reducing voltage drops and simplifying the connections. The wire drive circuit board is encapsulated, providing maximum protection from the elements.
Superior process control is achieved with the digital preset for voltage and wire feed speed. Up to four user memories can be saved for repeated procedures, and process limits can be set and passcode secured. The built-in display shows the actual voltage and current while welding.
Safety is a top priority with this feeder. For arc gouging operations, the single wire drive model can be ordered with an electrically isolated stud. The dual wire drive model comes with a Power Path™ contactor that electrically isolates the non-active wire drive and gun. Additionally, the user can select a wire retract function to physically retract the wire back into the nozzle, preventing operator injury.
The advanced MaxTrac® wire drive design ensures consistent wire feeding. With its rugged cast aluminum feed plate, the wire is protected throughout the feeding process. The feeder features patented tool-less drive rolls for quick and easy adjustments and maintenance. The patented tool-less split wire guides ensure uninterrupted feed and prevent birdnesting.
The feeder's modular design offers flexibility in configurations, allowing it to be easily converted for single or dual setups, as well as bench or boom configurations, depending on workspace needs. It comes with two available wire reel stands, standard for up to 44-lb. spools and heavy-duty for up to 60-lb. coils or spools. Lastly, it has a built-in interface for hard automation.
