The Tweco® Professional No. 6 Classic Series 600 A MIG Gun is designed to accommodate wires of size 3/32" and features a metal jacketed conductor tube with enhanced direct plug capabilities. This air-cooled MIG gun has an immense heat insulating conductor tube that offers a 60% duty cycle with CO2 gas. The 15' power cable provides good wire feedability and has a Miller® style rear connection.
This MIG gun incorporates a standard 60-degree conductor tube that can swivel 360 degrees around the handle. It can also be rapidly removed and replaced without removing the conduit. The gun features a fully insulated Mig-Kwik connection that allows the user to easily connect or disconnect at the wire feeder.
This MIG gun has been an industry standard for over 40 years. Its oval-shaped handle reduces the grip required to manipulate the MIG gun position, making it easier to use in different welding positions and reducing operator fatigue. The gun also has a gun hanger located at the bottom for convenient resting when not in use.
Designed for industrial applications, this MIG gun has a heavy-duty design with a high impact crush-resistant handle made of a special plastic composition. It also features a steel spring strain relief that provides support to the Cablehoz® coming out the rear of the handle to minimize wire feed issues. The mechanical connection of the conductor tube and Cablehoz® within the handle ensures excellent current path to the end of the contact tip.
The gun is secured in place with two ball-point screws. The trigger contains silver plated contacts with a self-cleaning action every time it is engaged and disengaged.
In addition, this MIG gun is field repairable, as the split-half handle case provides easy access for repair. It can be repaired easily, with no additional connectors required.
With longer life consumables and a wide selection of front end consumables available, this MIG gun offers improved performance. It is compatible with Tweco® Spray Master® series and Tweco® Professional No. Series, allowing for lower inventory carrying costs.
