The gas ported velocity2 contact tips remain cooler and last longer, while the velocity2 tips themselves are easy to use with no threads or tools required. With the ability to rotate the tips, their lifespan is extended, resulting in fewer changes needed.
The VELOCITY2 MIG Gun offers excellent wire feed ability thanks to its centered liner, which fits inside the tip. This design provides a smoother, more stable arc, resulting in superior welding performance. Additionally, the large copper to copper surface contact enhances both the thermal and electrical efficiency of the gun.
Notably, this MIG gun has proven to improve the lifespan of contact tips. With short arc solid wire, the tip lasts 2 to 3 times longer, while spray transfer extends the life by 4 to 5 times, and gas shielded flux core increases the lifespan by 8 to 10 times.
