The Activ8X CE semiautomatic wire feeder is designed to provide convenience and efficiency for shipbuilding, offshore, or construction welding projects. This portable wire feeder comes with a Twistmate/Dinse input connector.
With the Activ8X wire feeder, you can easily activate and enhance your shipbuilding, offshore, or construction operations. Its compact size allows it to fit through manways, and its lightweight design makes it easy to carry around the site. The wire feeder also features CrossLinc Technology, which enables remote control of the power source without the need for control cables.
Equipped with True Voltage Technology™ (TVT™), the Activ8X ensures that you achieve the voltage you set at the arc, even when you are hundreds of feet away from the power source.
In terms of durability, this wire feeder is built to withstand tough conditions. Its impact-resistant and flame-retardant case offers rugged protection, while potted PC boards provide moisture and corrosion resistance. The Maxtrac® Wire Drive System ensures reliable feeding and durability, with tachometer feedback for accurate wire feed speed.
Despite its ruggedness, the Activ8X remains one of the lightest construction feeders on the market. It can accept wire spools up to 8 inches (203mm) in diameter.
Thanks to CrossLinc Technology, you can remotely control the output of the welding leads without the need for control cables. Additionally, the True Voltage Technology (TVT) feature compensates for voltage drops across long welding cables, ensuring consistent performance.
