I have had nothing but problems with Josef Gas. Tanks leaking, deliveries showing up whenever they feel like it, and trying to get customer service to actually help is like pulling teeth. Nobody seems to know what’s going on and nobody seems to care. I pay good money for this service and I shouldn’t have to chase people around just to get basic things taken care of.
And then to top it all off, I was treated terribly because of my weight. I’m a woman in my 60s and I’ve been around long enough to know when somebody is being disrespectful. The owner and Richard Dawson made comments about my size that I found completely disgusting and embarrassing. I went there looking for help, not to have somebody make personal comments about what I look like.
I wouldn’t recommend Josef Gas to anybody. The tanks, the deliveries, the customer service and the way customers are treated are all a joke from my experience. Save yourself the headache and your hard-earned money. There are other companies out there that will at least treat you like a human being.
Very bad experience with Josef Gas. Tanks had leaking problems and delivery drivers were often coming outside the delivery time. Customer service communication was not good and sometimes very rude.
I also felt I was treated differently because English is not my first language. Some interactions felt disrespectful and uncomfortable, and I did not feel like my concerns were being taken seriously.
I tried to get help with the problems and get my money back, but it was very difficult and I got nowhere. For me, the products and service are not worth the money.
I would not recommend this company based on my experience.
The propane tanks I dealt with were constantly having issues with leaks, and overall the products simply weren’t worth the money. Deliveries were also a constant headache, with drivers regularly showing up outside of the expected delivery windows.
Customer service was extremely frustrating. Communication was poor, getting straightforward answers was difficult, and some interactions came across as unnecessarily rude. I also dealt with someone named Nathan who, in my experience, had a real attitude and seemed extremely rushed whenever dealing with customers. It made an already frustrating situation even worse.
When you have an issue with a product or are trying to resolve a billing problem, you shouldn't have to fight just to get someone to listen. I ended up trying to get money back and getting nowhere.
Overall, between the leaking tanks, unreliable delivery windows, poor communication, and frustrating customer service, I would not recommend Josef Gas, but if you do.. bring ear plugs because the yard workers are constantly screaming at each other. Oh, and.. the products and service simply aren't worth the hassle.
Nathan was AWESOME today. I have a small 8.80 pd propane tank. I wasn't sure if it was full or not and needed it be 100% full. With Nathan's , experience, he believed there was plenty of propane in the tank but he still took the time to hook it up. The tank was full. I was happy to pay but Nathan kindly said, no charge. I appreciate Nathan's customer service! Top notch!!!
