The Tweco® Eliminator® 450 A MIG Gun is designed to work with wires ranging from 0.045 to 1/16" in size. This air-cooled gun features a 15' power cable and a Miller® style rear connection. The gun is equipped with a standard 60-degree conductor tube that can swivel a full 360 degrees around the handle. It can also be easily removed and replaced without having to remove the conduit.
The MIG gun is equipped with a fully insulated Mig-Kwik connection that allows users to quickly connect or disconnect at the wire feeder. The handle is ergonomically designed to reduce operator fatigue, while the extended trigger length helps to reduce heat transfer to the welder's gloved hand.
In terms of repairability, the split-half handle case provides easy access for repairs in the field. The mechanical cable connections for Cablehoz® are also field-repairable, and spare trigger leads are included in the Cablehoz®.
The MIG gun boasts improved performance with its patented contact tip, which features a cam-style interface for increased surface contact with the gas diffuser. The ball and socket conductor tube design is built with a three-layer construction for flexibility and durability.
With its wide range of welding applications, including spray transfer and pulse welding modes with straight CO2 or mixed gases, the Tweco® Eliminator® is suitable for various welding needs.
For added durability and convenience, the MIG gun features front and rear spring strain relief and cable support, as well as a durable metal jacketed conductor tube.
The Eliminator® is equipped with patented, extended-life consumables and has a compact and ergonomic handle design.
The following improvements have been made to take the Eliminator® to new heights: dual spring and rubber strain reliefs on both ends of the MIG Gun, a metal jacketed articulating conductor tube as a standard option, or a fixed locking conductor tube as an alternative, and 4 trigger wires for improved feedability.
