The Tweco® Professional No. 3 Classic Series 300 A MIG Gun is a top-of-the-line tool designed for medium/heavy-duty fabrication. Its metal jacketed conductor tube and air-cooled feature make it perfect for industrial applications. This MIG gun has a 60% duty cycle with CO2 gas, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
The gun comes with a 10' power cable that offers excellent wire feedability and features a Miller® style rear connection. It also incorporates a standard 60-degree conductor tube that can swivel 360 degrees around the handle, allowing for easy maneuverability. Plus, it can be quickly removed and replaced without removing the conduit.
The MIG gun features a fully insulated Mig-Kwik connection, enabling users to conveniently connect or disconnect at the wire feeder. Its oval-shaped handle, an industry standard for over 40 years, reduces the grip required to manipulate the MIG gun position. It is also balanced to pivot at the center of the handle, reducing operator fatigue.
For convenience, the gun hanger is located at the bottom, providing a resting place when the gun is not in use. Additionally, the gun's heavy-duty design, made from a special plastic composition, ensures it can withstand industrial application environments and offers a high-impact crush-resistant handle.
To minimize wire feed issues, the MIG gun has a steel spring strain relief that supports the Cablehoz® coming out the rear of the handle. The mechanical connection of the conductor tube and Cablehoz® within the handle ensures an excellent current path to the end of the contact tip. Two ball-point screws securely hold the Cablehoz® and conductor tube in place.
The trigger contains silver-plated contacts that have a self-cleaning action every time the trigger is engaged and disengaged. This MIG gun is known for its durability and dependability, making it perfect for heavy-duty industrial applications.
It is also enhanced with direct plug capabilities and has a three-layer conductor tube construction (copper tube/silicon-resin glass insulator/metal jacket) for enhanced performance.
In case of any repairs, the split-half handle case provides easy access for repairs, ensuring convenience and eliminating the need for additional connectors.
With a wide selection of front end consumables available, it offers improved performance and longer consumable life. It is also compatible with consumables from the Tweco® Spray Master® series and Tweco® Professional No. Series, reducing inventory carrying costs.
