The Tweco® Weldskill® 23 Series Nozzle is specifically designed to protect the quality of your welds and extend the lifespan of your welding gun. With a 1/2" bore size, this nozzle is perfect for use with a standard gas diffuser. The 3.219" nozzle, with an outer diameter of 0.875", is ideal for medium to heavy duty welding applications up to 450 A.
The nozzle is made of a durable copper alloy, with a 9/16"-18 UNC-2B thread size and a recess contact tip relationship of 0.125 - 0.156". It features a part number rolled stamped on the outer surface, making it easy to identify. The nozzle is sold in packs of two.
The 3-piece design of this nozzle includes a copper alloy tubing housing, a solid brass nozzle insert, and a silicone nozzle insulator. The housing is cut and formed from the copper alloy tubing, while the insert is machined to allow for internal threading that matches the conductor tube OD threads. The nozzle insulator, made from g7 silicone material, provides the necessary electrical insulation required from the gas diffuser.
Additionally, the nozzle insert is crimped in place to allow the nozzle to slide over a metal spring that is part of the gas diffuser. This nozzle can be easily threaded onto the conductor tube assembly, and its 3-piece design eliminates the need for an additional insulator.
