The Tweco® Robotics Nozzle Assembly with eliminator is designed to enhance your welding experience. This 3-piece assembly is specifically patterned to work seamlessly with robotic/fixed automation MIG guns. With a flush to 1/16" tip and a 1/2" Dia bore, this assembly is perfect for light to medium duty welding applications up to 600 A. The Nozzle Assembly insert is crafted from solid brass, allowing for internal thread customization to match the gas diffuser. The Nozzle Assembly housing is made from tellurium copper alloy bar, ensuring effective heat dissipation.
To cater to different welding needs, our Nozzle Assembly offers three different tip options. Recessed Tips are ideal for higher heat applications or when longer electrical stick-out is required. Flush Tips are perfect for shorter electrical stick-out, resulting in shorter/tighter arc lengths. Protruding Tips are designed for welding open root pipe or tight weld joints, but be cautious as they increase the risk of arcing the tip to the workpiece. However, a straight ID bore at the front end of the nozzle allows for proper cleaning of the side walls, ensuring excellent gas flow.
Our Nozzle Assembly is compatible with nozzle cleaning stations commonly used in robotic weld cells. The assembly consists of three parts: the Nozzle Housing, machined from tellurium copper alloy bar; the Nozzle Insert, machined from solid brass alloy with custom internal threads; and the Nozzle Insulator, made from G7 silicone material for electrical insulation from the gas diffuser. Easy identification is made possible with the Part No. rolled stamped on the outside surface.
With its bottle-shaped geometry and 3-piece design, our Nozzle Assembly eliminates the need for an additional insulator, making it a convenient and efficient choice for your welding projects.
