The Tweco® Slip-On Copper Nozzle is designed with a 1/2" bore size to fit standard gas diffusers and is compatible with 250 A Tweco® SprayMaster® MIG guns. It is perfect for heavy-duty welding applications up to 250 A. The 2.273" Nozzle has a 0.875" OD and is made of 122 DHP copper alloy. It features a part number rolled stamped on the outer surface for easy identification.
This high-quality nozzle has a 3-piece design, including a copper alloy tubing nozzle housing, a solid brass nozzle insert, and a silicone nozzle insulator. The nozzle insert allows for easy sliding over the metal spring of the gas diffuser. The silicone nozzle insulator provides the necessary electrical insulation from the gas diffuser.
Included in this pack are 2 nozzles that offer reliable electrical insulation and easy identification with the part numbers rolled stamped on the outside surface. Unlike other designs, this 3-piece nozzle does not require an additional insulator.
This versatile nozzle comes in three variations: recessed tips, flush tips, and protruding tips. Recessed tips are ideal for higher heat applications and longer electrical stick-outs. Flush tips are suitable for shorter electrical stick-outs, resulting in shorter/tighter arc lengths. Protruding tips are perfect for welding tight joints, but require caution as they may arc with the workpiece and potentially cause damage to the front end parts, resulting in necessary downtime for replacement.
