The Tweco® Self Insulated Slip-On Copper Nozzle is specifically designed for standard gas diffusers. With a 0.375" bore size and a 3.25" nozzle length, it is perfect for medium to heavy duty welding applications up to 450 A. This copper alloy nozzle features a part number stamped on the outside surface for easy identification. The 3-piece design includes a nozzle housing made from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing, a nozzle insert machined from solid brass, and a nozzle insulator constructed from silicone material. The nozzle insert is crimped in place, allowing the nozzle to slide over a metal spring that is part of the gas diffuser. It features threads on the standard EL gas diffuser and provides the necessary electrical insulation using the nozzle insulator. Each pack includes 2 nozzles. The recessed tips are suitable for higher heat applications and situations where longer electrical stick-out is required. Flush tips are used with shorter electrical stick-out, resulting in shorter/tighter arc lengths. Protruding tips are ideal for welding in tight weld joints, but there is a risk of arcing the tip to the work piece, potentially causing damage to front end parts.
