The Tweco® Brass Flush Nozzle in 3/8" size is designed specifically for standard gas diffusers. It is perfect for light to medium duty welding applications up to 250 A. The part number is conveniently rolled stamped on the outside for easy identification.
This nozzle is made from a durable copper alloy and has a 3-piece design that eliminates the need for an additional insulator. The nozzle housing is crafted from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing, while the nozzle insert is machined from solid brass. The nozzle insulator is made from silicone material.
The nozzle insert allows for the machining of internal threads to perfectly match the gas diffuser. It can be easily threaded onto a standard EL gas diffuser. The nozzle provides the necessary electrical insulation from the gas diffuser, thanks to the inclusion of the nozzle insulator.
The nozzle is sold in packs of two. This versatile nozzle comes in three types: recessed, flush, and protruding tips. Recessed tips are ideal for higher heat applications and situations where longer electrical stick-out is required. Flush tips are used when a shorter electrical stick-out is needed, which can result in shorter/tighter arc lengths. Protruding tips are used for welding open root pipes or tight weld joints, although caution must be exercised to avoid damaging the front end parts.
