The Tweco® 16 Series Standard Heavy Duty Contact Tip is a high-quality accessory for heavy duty welding applications. It is designed to accommodate 7/64" wire and works perfectly with 350 - 600 A Tweco® Spray Master® and Tweco® No.6 MIG guns, as well as specific MIG gun series.
This contact tip is made from extruded or gun-drilled 122 DHP copper alloy and machined from a copper alloy tubing, ensuring a consistent and smooth inside diameter surface. It features a threaded style that ensures proper contact with a gas diffuser when installed to the MIG gun. The contact tip's design acts as a heat sink, effectively conducting heat away from the arc source.
With excellent electrical properties and increased surface contact, this contact tip offers better electrical conductivity. It can be twisted quarter turn clockwise when the tip wear point is reached, revealing a new wear point and doubling the life of the tip. Each contact tip is marked with a part number and wire diameter for easy identification.
