Featuring a part number rolled stamped on the outer surface, the gas diffuser is easily identifiable. It has a 0.939" size with a 7/16"-20 UNC-2A conductor tube thread size and is equipped with 6 gas holes for efficient gas distribution. To ensure consistent dimensional stability, the gas diffuser is precision machined from 360-brass alloy bar stock.
Each pack includes 5 units of this reliable and durable gas diffuser. It is designed to work seamlessly with robotic/fixed automation MIG conductor tubes and the WC26 series nozzle assemblies. When selecting tips, consider the specific requirements of your welding application. Recessed tips are suitable for higher heat applications or instances where the nozzle may come into contact with the workpiece. Flush tips are ideal for shorter electrical stick-out and tighter arc lengths. Protruding tips are recommended for welding in tight joints or open root pipes, but there is a risk of arcing the tip to the workpiece, potentially causing damage and requiring downtime for replacement.
