OVERVIEW

The Tweco® Robotics QTRW66 Series 45 deg Conductor Tube is a durable and rugged solution for welding applications up to 600 A. Its fully insulated design ensures long-lasting performance. With a water-cooled feature, this conductor tube effectively manages heat. The outer jacket, equipped with a thermally conductive insulator, efficiently dissipates heat from the nozzle. To prioritize safety, the outer jacket is insulated from the inner tube assembly using a teflon sleeve. The 3/4" O.D stainless steel seamless tube, brazed between the copper nozzle housing and the brass crimp ring, adds strength to the overall structure. The conductor tube boasts an inner tube constructed with a combination of brass and copper, ensuring optimal heat transfer. Additionally, the brazed inner tube has a tapered front end that fits seamlessly between itself and the nozzle housing, promoting efficient heat transfer. The conductor tube's stainless steel alloy back end enhances its durability. Thanks to two stainless steel alignment pins and a locking screw, the conductor tube is securely fastened within the torch body. This water-cooled torch allows for the easy circulation of water, drawing heat away from the gas diffuser, contact tip, and nozzle. The conductor tube is not only rigid but also reliable. Its brass/copper duplex extrusion construction guarantees excellent electrical conductivity and efficient cooling. It is further reinforced by two stainless steel alignment pins, ensuring a secure fit within the torch body. The wear-resistant solid stainless steel alloy back end adds durability to the conductor tube. A teflon sleeve effectively insulates the stainless steel outer jacket from the inner tube, displaying remarkable di-electric properties. Compatible with the QTRW54-16 Gas Diffuser, this conductor tube can accommodate threaded 16RS, 16RZ, and 16S series contact tips. The outer jacket includes a nozzle housing with a thermally conductive insulator designed to draw heat away from the nozzle.
