The Tweco® Robotics QTRW66 Series 180 deg Conductor Tube is a highly durable and ruggedly designed product. It is meticulously insulated to ensure long-lasting performance. Ideal for welding applications up to 600 A, this water-cooled conductor tube incorporates a thermally conductive insulator in its nozzle housing. This insulator effectively removes heat from the nozzle and ensures optimal functionality. The outer jacket is insulated from the inner tube assembly by a teflon sleeve, providing excellent di-electric properties. Combining strength and reliability, a stainless steel seamless tube is brazed between the copper nozzle housing and the brass crimp ring in the outer jacket. The inner tube of the conductor tube consists of a brass and copper duplex extrusion, offering outstanding electrical conductivity and water passages. The front end of the brazed inner tube creates a solid heat transfer path with the nozzle housing, ensuring efficient heat dissipation. To further enhance its strength, the conductor tube features a stainless steel alloy back end. With 2 stainless steel alignment pins and a locking screw, it is securely held in place within the torch body. This water-cooled torch allows for efficient circulation of cold water throughout the conductor tube, effectively drawing heat away from the gas diffuser, contact tip, and nozzle.
