The Techniweld E6011 is a high-performance cellulosic mild steel electrode designed for the Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) process. Engineered to meet AWS A5.1 specifications, this electrode is characterized by its deeply penetrating arc and thin, friable slag. It is specifically formulated to weld effectively on surfaces that may be contaminated with rust, scale, paint, or dirt, reducing the need for extensive pre-weld cleaning. The 1/8-inch (3.2mm) diameter is a standard size suitable for a wide range of material thicknesses, typically operating between 80 and 125 amperes.

This electrode utilizes a potassium-based coating that stabilizes the arc, allowing it to operate smoothly on Alternating Current (AC) as well as Direct Current Electrode Positive (DCEP).
