OVERVIEW

The Precision 225 TIG welder is designed for gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) on aluminum and various other metals. It provides the widest operating range in its class, ranging from 5 to 230 amps. This durable welder incorporates our patented Micro-Start™ II technology, enhancing starting and ensuring optimal arc stability. With the 115V receptacles, you can power additional equipment such as a water cooler or other power tools. It is perfect for small automotive and fabrication shops, as well as vocational training schools.

Our welder boasts a simple and easy-to-use operator interface. Select your desired mode and polarity, and you can start welding right away. The AC Auto Balance® feature automatically provides the ideal mix of cleaning and penetration when welding aluminum. Furthermore, you can easily adjust settings for different situations, including cleaning, penetration, and pulse. By enabling the TIG pulser feature, you can minimize material distortion caused by excessive heat input and ensure consistent bead appearance.

Not only does this welder excel in TIG welding, but it also offers exceptional stick welding capabilities. You can use electrodes up to 5/32 inches (4.0 mm) in size, including Fleetweld® 5P+ (E6010). Whether you need precise welds, efficient penetration, or consistent bead appearance, the Precision 225 TIG welder delivers superior performance.
