The C2511-12 Double Bend Electrode is a specialized resistance welding component designed to solve complex access problems in industrial spot welding applications. Manufactured to meet rigorous industry standards, this electrode features a distinct double-bend geometry—often referred to as a crank or offset shape—which allows the welding face to reach over flanges, into channels, or around obstructions that would block a standard straight electrode.

Constructed from RWMA Class 2 Copper Alloy (Chromium-Copper), this electrode offers the ideal balance of electrical conductivity and physical hardness. Class 2 material is the industry standard for welding mild steels, coated steels, and low-alloy sheets, providing resistance to deformation under high electrode force while maintaining excellent heat transfer. The electrode is typically produced using a cold-forming process rather than casting or hot forging. Cold forming aligns the grain structure of the copper, resulting in superior mechanical strength and wear resistance at the welding face.

Thermal management is critical in resistance welding. This double bend electrode is designed with an internal water cooling cavity that accommodates a water tube. Proper water flow ensures the tip remains cool during high-duty cycles, preventing mushrooming and sticking.
