The Miller 278616 is the genuine OEM replacement Auto-Darkening Filter (ADF) assembly designed specifically for the Miller T94™ and T94i™ series welding helmets. This unit restores the full functionality of the helmet's optical system, integrating Miller's advanced ClearLight™ Lens Technology. ClearLight optimizes the spectral transmission of the lens, allowing more colors of the visible light spectrum to pass through when the lens is in the light state or welding state, resulting in a high-definition, natural color view that reduces eye strain and improves weld quality.

Technical Capabilities

This lens assembly features four independent arc sensors and Miller's exclusive X-Mode™. X-Mode electromagnetically senses the welding arc, rather than relying solely on optical sensors. This ensures the lens darkens consistently even when the sensors are obstructed by the work piece or when welding outdoors in direct sunlight. The digital interface provides control over Shade (8-13 for welding, 5-8 for cutting), Sensitivity, and Delay settings. It also includes InfoTrack™ 2.0 data monitoring technology, which tracks arc time and arc count, aiding in productivity analysis and job costing.
