The Victor SR461D-510 (SKU: 0781-0595) is a premium heavy-duty single-stage regulator designed specifically for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) applications. Part of the renowned SR 450 Series, this regulator is engineered to manage medium to high capacity gas flows with precision and reliability. It features a robust die-forged brass body and housing cap, ensuring it can withstand the rigors of harsh industrial environments. The regulator is rated for a maximum inlet pressure of 350 PSIG, making it perfectly suited for standard propane cylinders equipped with CGA-510 connections.

At the core of the SR461D-510 is a large 3-1/4 inch stainless steel diaphragm. Unlike neoprene alternatives, the stainless steel construction provides exceptional sensitivity to pressure changes and remains stable over a long service life, resisting corrosion and fatigue. This mechanism allows for a delivery range of 5 to 125 PSIG, suitable for a wide variety of heating, cutting, and brazing operations. The regulator utilizes a stem-type seat mechanism which aids in positive sealing and durability. A sintered bronze inlet filter is electroless nickel-plated to prevent particulate contamination from entering the regulator, protecting the internal components from damage.

Operational adjustments are smooth and precise thanks to the Delrin insert bushing and a stainless steel ball in the key handle. The forged T-handle screw allows operators to easily set the desired pressure even while wearing gloves. Safety is addressed with an external self-reseating relief valve (not designed to protect downstream equipment, but to relieve excess regulator pressure). The unit includes two 2-1/2 inch brass gauges: a 400 PSIG inlet gauge and a 200 PSIG outlet gauge, providing clear visual confirmation of system status. With a flow coefficient (Cv) of 0.27, the SR461D-510 delivers consistent performance where slight delivery pressure increases due to decreasing cylinder pressure are acceptable.
