The Victor SR461B-510 (0781-0589) is a premium heavy-duty single-stage regulator designed specifically for LP Gas (Propane) applications. Part of the renowned SR 450 Series, this regulator is engineered to deliver consistent performance in demanding industrial environments where reliability and precision are paramount. The unit features a robust forged brass body and housing cap, ensuring it can withstand the rigors of daily use in welding, cutting, and heating operations.

At the heart of the SR461B-510 is a large 3.25-inch stainless steel diaphragm. This substantial diaphragm size provides exceptional sensitivity and pressure control, allowing for a stable delivery pressure even as cylinder pressure fluctuates. The regulator offers a delivery range of 2-40 PSIG, making it versatile for a variety of medium to high-capacity applications. The stem-type seat mechanism further enhances durability, providing a positive seal that resists wear over time.

Ease of use is a key design consideration for Victor. The regulator includes a Delrin insert bushing in the housing cap, which ensures smooth and precise adjustments of the delivery pressure. The adjusting screw features a forged T-handle, giving operators excellent leverage and control. Safety is also prioritized with an external self-reseating relief valve (note: not designed to protect downstream equipment) and a sintered inlet filter made from electroless nickel-plated bronze to trap particulates and protect the internal components.

This model comes equipped with easy-to-read 2.5-inch brass gauges. The inlet gauge reads up to 400 PSIG, while the outlet gauge reads up to 60 PSIG, providing clear visual confirmation of system status. With a standard CGA 510 inlet connection and a 9/16"-18 LH(M) outlet, it is compatible with standard industrial propane cylinders and hoses.
