Unlike single-stage regulators that may show a decay in outlet pressure as the cylinder drains, this unit utilizes a brass piston first stage to step down the high inlet pressure (up to 3500 PSIG) to an intermediate level, followed by a sensitive second stage. The second stage features a 1-inch 316 stainless steel diaphragm.
