The Miller Smith 255-20-09 is a premium single-stage regulator from the Silverline 250 Series, engineered specifically for high-purity gas handling and liquid cylinder applications. This unit is distinguished by its rear-entry inlet design, which facilitates direct and ergonomic connection to liquid cylinders (dewars), eliminating the strain often associated with side-entry regulators in these setups. It utilizes a CGA 580 connection, making it suitable for inert gases such as Nitrogen, Argon, and Helium.

At the core of this regulator is a large 1-7/8 inch stainless steel diaphragm. Unlike neoprene or rubber diaphragms, stainless steel provides superior sensitivity and maintains integrity under the extreme temperature fluctuations inherent in cryogenic gas withdrawal. This ensures precise pressure control and an extended service life. The regulator is capable of handling a maximum inlet pressure of 3500 PSI and offers a delivery pressure range of 0-350 PSI, making it ideal for analytical laboratories, bulk gas distribution, and other high-demand environments.

Durability and cleanliness are paramount in the Silverline series. The entire assembly—body, bonnet, and gauges—features a nickel-plated finish.
