The Miller Smith 254-82-09 Silverline High Purity Analytical Liquid Cylinder Regulator is a premium gas control device engineered specifically for the rigorous demands of laboratory and analytical environments. Part of the renowned 250 Silverline Series, this regulator is designed to manage the delivery of inert gases such as Argon, Nitrogen, and Helium from liquid cylinders (dewars). Its distinct back-mount inlet configuration allows for a seamless, direct connection to the liquid cylinder's gas use valve, optimizing space and ensuring a secure fit.

Constructed from rugged brass bar stock, the entire assembly—including the body, bonnet, and gauges—is fully nickel-plated. This plating serves a dual purpose: it provides exceptional resistance to corrosion in harsh environments and maintains the high level of cleanliness required for high-purity gas handling. At the heart of the regulator lies a large 1-7/8 inch stainless steel diaphragm. Unlike neoprene or rubber diaphragms, stainless steel is impervious to the temperature fluctuations inherent in cryogenic applications, ensuring precise pressure control and a long service life without the risk of embrittlement.

The 254-82-09 is equipped with Smith’s exclusive Sure-Seat™ filtered seat technology.
