The Miller Smith 254-82-08 Silverline High Purity Analytical Liquid Cylinder Regulator is a precision-engineered instrument designed to meet the rigorous demands of laboratory and analytical gas delivery systems. Part of the esteemed 250 Silverline series, this single-stage regulator is specifically configured for use with liquid cylinders, featuring a rear-entry (back mount) design that facilitates direct and ergonomic connection to cryogenic vessels. The unit is equipped with a CGA 540 inlet connection, making it suitable for high-purity oxygen and compatible gas service where maintaining stream integrity is paramount.

Constructed from rugged brass bar stock, the regulator body, bonnet, and gauges are fully nickel-plated. This plating serves a dual purpose: it provides an aesthetic, professional finish and, more importantly, offers superior protection against corrosion and environmental wear, which is critical in the often-harsh conditions surrounding cryogenic liquid cylinders. The internal architecture features a large 1-7/8 inch stainless steel diaphragm. Unlike elastomeric diaphragms, stainless steel prevents off-gassing and absorption, ensuring that the purity of the gas stream is preserved from the cylinder to the point of use.
